Stagecoach Dart SLF/Plaxton 33839 (X839HHE) was based at Chesterfield depot which operated service 253 at that time. Here it is arriving on stand at Crystal Peaks, ready for it's next journey
Stagecach 30197 (L504OAL) is one of the many Volvo B6/Alexander which came with the Yorkshire Terrier fleet. This one originated with Nottingham
TM Travel Solo MX03YCN which took me to Dinnington, I was a bit upset at getting this bus as the previous day the service had been operated by a Plaxton Primo, a type of vehicle I had never ridden at that time.

Dinnington has a pleasant little modern Bus Station. Seen on stand there is Powells 32 (R560UOT), a UVG bodied Dennis Dart SLF, on the route to Doncaster
Stagecoach bought a batch of Optare Excels for route 19 (Worksop to Rotherham). This is 35010 (YN51VHV)
First 34209 (S209LLO), a refugee from London, is a Northern Counties bodied Volvo Olympian

TM Travel's Solo MX03YCN again. Having reached Dinnington, the bus then does a circuit of some nearby villages before returning to Crystal Peaks..

Route 19 had a 30 minute frequency, with Rotherham to Dinnington shorts making it up to four per hour. Hence lots of Excels were seen. Here is 35007 (YN51VHR)
