Greater Manchester 1983 to 1990

The few half-decent photos of buses in Greater Manchester I took whilst studying in Salford from late 1982 to mid 1986 and in the years after. If only I could have afforded to take more photos at the time, and if only I could find my negatives, rather than having to use scans of the prints!

    The Mancunians were disappearing when I was living in the area, and for some reason I didn't photograph many. 2226 (RNA226J), seen in Oldham on 16th June 1983 was a Park Royal bodied Daimler Fleetline, and had been repainted into the brown, orange and white livery.,
